Triple (Treble) Crochet

This is the highest of the stitches known in crochet. The triple crochet, also known as the treble, makes a very elastic fabric with openings between each stitch. To crochet this stitch into the chain foundation, yarn over the hook two times, leave out the first three or four stitches, as your pattern calls for, and out the hook in from the front of the project to the back of the project through the subsequent stitch in the chain foundation. Yarn over the hook and drag the hook through the stitch chain. You will see four circles on the hook after this. Yarn over again and drag the hook through two of the loops on the hook. Three hooks remain. Yarn over the hook and drag the hook through two loops on the hook. You will have two loops left. Yarn over the hook and pull the hook through the left, over two loops. You have now completed one triple crochet stitch and have one loop when you have finished.
